![]() Hollywood Casino Amphitheater (or whatever they change the name to next year or the next) clearly is run by people who don’t know what they’re doing. Warriors at United Center this year took less than 5 minutes. The Beyonce concert at Soldier Field took less than 10 minutes. ![]() In comparison, Wrigley Field on Opening Night this year took less than 10 minutes shortly before first pitch. It took 55 minutes (that is not an exaggeration – we got in “line” at 6:59 pm, and we got through security at 7:54 pm), which meant we missed the entire opening act, which was the primary reason we bought the tickets in the first place. The security? THREE people giving pat downs to every person walking in. But what we found was a mass of about 3,000 to 4,000 people trying to get in. ![]() We arrived for a concert right at the advertised show time, so we expected to wait in a line. What sets this place apart, however, is that their “security” measures are the worst among the hundreds of sporting and music venues I have visited in the U.S. Many reviewers have already covered the serious lack of restrooms, and most have understated the lack of organization in the parking lots.
